1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Interactive Checkout's platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using our services on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.
2. Service Description
Interactive Checkout provides a checkout add-on platform for Shopify merchants, including shipment protection, instant cashback, satisfaction guarantees, express shipping upgrades, and checkout contributions. We handle claims processing, customer communications, and revenue management on your behalf.
3. Merchant Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining an active Shopify store, providing accurate business information, complying with applicable laws and regulations, and ensuring your use of our platform complies with Shopify's Terms of Service. You must not use our platform for fraudulent purposes.
4. Pricing and Payments
Interactive Checkout does not charge monthly SaaS fees. We charge a flat 5% fee on add-on revenue generated through our platform — you keep the remaining 95%. There are no setup costs, minimum commitments, or hidden charges. Payment terms and processing details are outlined in your merchant agreement.
5. Claims Processing
Our AI-powered claims engine processes customer claims automatically. We reserve the right to approve, deny, or flag claims for manual review based on our fraud detection algorithms. Claim approval rates and processing times may vary. We aim for 94%+ approval rates and sub-5-minute resolution times.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, software, and technology comprising the Interactive Checkout platform is our proprietary property. You retain ownership of your brand assets, store data, and customer relationships. You grant us a limited license to use your brand name and logo for case studies with prior approval.
7. Limitation of Liability
Interactive Checkout's total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data loss.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, we will process any pending claims, settle outstanding balances, and delete your data within 90 days unless retention is required by law. You can uninstall our Shopify app at any time.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, CA, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
